We had a bad experience with another hotel on the island.

Needed a place to stay and did not have reservations. Contacted The Flamboyant. They were fantastic. We booked 4 rooms . Great hotel, beautiful rooms, wonderful views, good restaurant, great beach and beach bar.

We are in Barbados (from Canada) for a month each year to visit family, but everyone knows what family can be like, and this year we just HAD to get away....our usual escape is Tobago, but that is MORE family....so, we picked an island.....Grenada! So glad we did!! What a GORGEOUS island!! So different from Barbados! The people are lovely & more than willing to help you out...even after what they have been through!!! The Flamboyant was lovely.....just TO MANY STAIRS!!( a note to travellers who are not in good condition) 25 up to our room, which was on the first level up) oh yes, and 60+ down( & back up again to your room) to the resturarnt & bar!! but if you're looking for good $ and good food, then this is the place! We will go back for sure(in better condition) & will definetley recommend the Flamboyant to all!!(just wish they could incoorperate a ramps of some sort to facillitate bags, ect)

I stayed over chistmas for two weeks, returning home on the 27th dec.
the hotel was good, food very good.
I stayed on all inclusive, and found that very good.
One word of warning, the steps from you room to the Hotel can be a long treck so if you are unfit then please bear this in mind.
I stayed in a One Bed Suite, very good and roomy, however if you are All Inc. i would suggest not having one of these as the fully fitted kitchen is abit of a waste of money. so just go for the normal room, which by all accounts are OK.
I found all the staff very pleasent and looked after me very well, i wanted for nothing.
The views from your room are first class, over looking the grand anse beach, a mile & half of white sand,
Great for walking of those calories i even walked to St Georges twice there and back 10 Miles.
All in All a very good holiday and would recommend this htel to anyone.

We have just arrived home from our second trip to The Flamboyant on the lovely Grande Anse Beach in Grenada. We had a fantastic holiday and the hotel staff excelled themselves with their hospitality. The Flamboyant is an easy hotel with no pretentions of grandure, simply good food, excellent service, spotless rooms and a gorgeous view. The chefs cooked great meals and Christmas Dinner was delicious. The New Year's Eve party was a real pleasure. We had the all inclusive package and it proved to be really good value.
We took the opportunity to fly to The Grenadines and sail on the Scaramouch. It was a fantasic day.
Christmas in Grenada was a great experience!
