It was an interesting place to visit and the people were friendly. Lot of hilly walking to the market. Good spice market.
good view on the harbour, nice little restaurants along the carnage, all in all a perfect place for a little rest while exploring St. George's.
The Carenage is a great walk and feel the life of the harbor. It is a working harbor filled with fishing boats, commercial boats as well as pleasure boats. It is truly the hub of the city.
Worth a walk or drive around to see this old harbour area. Try the Revo-Mor restaurant above the Crabback.
We spent a few days both inside and outside of the Carenage. Very accessible by dinghy, to grocery shops and more. About 7 mins from Port Louis to dinghy dock of St.Georges where there are some delightful shops and the very warm welcomes from Grenadians. A must see for all
