“Off the beaten path”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

I use to go here all the time decades ago, as there was not much else. Now that the restaurant scene is in full swing with many great places to choose from, I went back recently and enjoyed myself greatly. Cold Carib on tap, good fish food dinner, but can get (very) warm if there is not a breeze. Sit outside if you can.

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

Easy to find. Great host. Could use some brightening inside, we sat outside on the patio. Food was excellent; lambi with pasta and mahi-mahi sauteed in garlic butter. Portions were generous. Service was fine on island time. A sure thing for a good meal.

“Lovely food, great host!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

We ordered the lobster and fish skewers which we were happy with but the owner offered us a complimentary starter as the lobster would take a while.

We were served with an amazing shrimp pancake. Our mains were also very good. The restaurant is a short walk away from Lance aux Epines cottages. Worth a visit if you're close by.

“great but too large portions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

We walked here from our room at Calabash and were glad for the walk after our large meal. I had the "lambi" (conch) and it was a large piece of meat served with rice, veggies, and potatoes. My husband had the blackened tuna and it was a giant piece of fish, also served with three sides. We started with an appetizer each. The Callaloo soup for me and he had a fish crepe. SO delicious and the owner is a friendly elderly lady that is worried about slow season business. make this a casual stop. sit outsie and enjot the evening.
