“Difficult to find by dinghy, but worth the search”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

The fried green bananas with "sauce" were delicious. We had a choice of fish, conch or chicken. The blue marlin was wonderful and served with seasoned rice with peas and savory local vegetables. We were able to order wine and ice cream with the meal. Although a few others were on the tiny deck, it seemed as if we had our own private deck overlooking the bay. Joan had lights strung to the dock to help us return to our dinghy. When we returned ashore a few days later, we learned that the locals were all fond of Joan's fine and inexpensive local cuisine and that the restaurant is easy to find by land.

“Smallest and Friendliest Restaurant in Grenada”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

On the hill in Woburn on the North side of Clarkes Court bay with just 8 seats it must be the smallest restaurant in the Caribbean.

Food is home cooked and consists Fish, Lobster, Lambi etc and all served with a panoramic view of the bay.

Although on the hill it does have its own dock if you are moored in the bay but use a wide approach along the coast to avoid the reef immediately in front. Look for the orange light on the dock (unlit).

“home cooking served to perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012 via mobile

assuming all grenadians have Joan in their kitchen ! choice of 3 main courses on the night we went only fish & lobster were available but we really didn't feel cheated - HUGE portion of lobster in fresh garlic - a similarly sized portion of fish for Hubbie - countless different local veggied - best plaintsin ever - add in 3 rum punches and 2 beers for less than ecd130 - you can see why 5 stars
