“Strong attention to detail - every detail”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We commend the management and staff for a very well-run facility at the Pardisus in Punta Cana. The landscaping at the site is impeccable (staff trim grass from the sidewalks by hand, using knives and machetes; they rake the beach every morning). Contrary to some of the reviews - which we read before going - the food is very good. The Naos Buffet was the go-to eating spot, with the restaurants providing good dinners.

The hoopla about the Royal Service and the hassle regarding dinner reservations - often posted on this site - is accurate. You really need to sign-up for the R.S. to get dinner reservations at restaurants other than the buffets. And the sales pitch upon arrival, to sign up for the R.S., is - to be candid - annoying after a long journey to get there.

That said, the butler assigned to us - helping us with reservations and the like - was outstanding (well done, Ariel Benzo!). And he set us up for the entire week with the beach / pool attending staff (of particular notes, Francisco Cabrera did an outstanding job all week; his colleague, who just started the week we were there, Carlos was very good, too).

As we noted, the food's very good. We need to highlight Juan and Henry - both working the breakfast and lunch shifts at the Naos Buffet - as the best waiters on the resort. They held tables for us, our coffee would be refilled with seemingly every sip taken, and they were great company during our meals (sharing Spanish, chatting about their homes in the D.R.). Well done guys.

We recently spent 4 incredible days in this hotel. Starting with an upgrade to a luxury suite with Jacuzzi, we were delighted with the level of service, the food and specially the entertainment. Every night we received a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne with either chocolates or fruits at no added cost. We tried the steak house and the Teppanyaki restaurant and it was amazing, but the best meal we tried was definitely in the main buffet. Wow... just Wow. There's no words to describe the level of attention received from the staff, but I need to mention Liliana Martinez, one of the Entertainment coordinators, who made our experience so enjoyable. Thanks for everything!

I am the pickiest person in the world and have to write this review. This place is absolutely amazing. I've gone to many beaches properties and this by far was the best time. The staff is amazing. The entertainment staff always got the guests involved. A special thank you to angel, mr omg (Reynaldo ), Francesco. Luis the bartender and all the other bar staff and this is just naming a few. Ever person we met went up and beyond to please us. There was small things but that is not important as the staff are the reason why this resort is such a success. Hats off paradisus for employing the best staff in punta Cana. I Love mr.Omg and Francesco, Luis!

Visit December 2014
I was staying at firstat luxury suite with Jacuzzi, but was given upgrade to one bedroom suite. The one bedroom was huge with Jacuzzi for two, 3 sinks, separate rooms for toilette and shower , 2 tv's in bedroom and living room. The construction of the new family building is going on but did not bother us at all, it looks great and is closest to the beach will be great for families with kids. The confusion with the deluxe room and luxury room with Jacuzzi comes from the fact that on the website explanation it looks like the luxury room has whirlpool tub and Jacuzzi which is inaccurate. Both have only 1 whirlpool just the one room is bigger. Same for the one bedroom suite.

The resort is small. Restaurants I visited Market grill, Vento, Aqua. Only Aqua had good entrée filet mignon and pork, make sure that you ask not to be put on tables under the blue lights. That light is uncomfortable and food color looks weird. Desert soufflé very good.
Buffet is excellent , get seat with Juan waiter morning and lunch and you will be pampered, everybody is nice. Sashimi tuna is perfect and this is first time I tried it at resort out of fear not to get sick. Caviar fresh black and red, cafe illy and when you order double espresso they actually put second package of café, premium alcohol available only ask. Nobody got sick.
I did not find a need to upgrade to royal.

Beach is very wide and first resort I visit where no towel game is played, simply too many shades and beach chairs 6 rows. No towel cards, big convenience. Sand fine white, pleasant breeze. Only minus was the seaweeds so much but morning everything is cleaned and throughout the day as well on the whole bay with Melia. Paradisus, Secrets resort. Tried to walk towards Melia don't go passed it locals very aggressive and after that stretch IFA hotel even more mountains of seeweed.

The Spa at Reserve side; the water ritual worth the try when weather not good, is free.

I was recently at this hotel and received excellent service from a few individuals who assisted during our visit. Our butler, Jonfi Rivera, was so attentive and helpful and Omar Hernandez was also very hospitable. I really enjoyed both of them and feel they deserve special recognition!

This is a really pretty hotel. Positives: Food at the buffet is not your ordinary buffet. Better than the restaurants. The beach is excellent. Walk out from hotel to the beach. Pool was very nice and not too crowded. it is all inclusive but beware of the golf packages. Green fees are free but they charge you $70 for cart rental. Negatives: The rooms were spacious however it had a musty smell...the air conditioner worked well and no problems but the rooms had a funky smell to them. The sheets and pillows as well. Beds weren't super comfortable. The maid service was awesome. Tried to clean it every few hours. Well stocked fridge with water soda and beer, clean towels and turn down service. Room service was good as well. Biggest pitfall room was really far from the main hall. We walked quite a ways and not too many rooms with ocean views. the doors had small cracks which allowed mosquitoes to come in. I would not rate it as good as the ALSOL Luxury Village/Sanctuary which is also in DR rooms wise. Another perk free wifi!

I have to say that the staff at this Resort is by far the most friendly and helpful that I have ever seen and I have been to over 10 different Resorts so far. One evening there was a power failure and they managed to make it fun for everyone. The food is very good but I have to say we did not bother going to the "A La Carte" restaurants as 1) They charge for the wine 2) The food at the general Buffet is excellent and 3) You still get great wine and Beer if you like at the Buffet. The beach is absolutely the most beautiful I have seen. We stayed at their Royal Service which gives you access to a Concierge and a private pool and Beach. That was very nice and we liked the tranquillity as no kids were allowed there.
To my knowledge there are 2 Paradisus in Punta Cana the other one is called Paradisus Punta Cana and I heard its even rated better than the one we stayed at.
You will not go wrong if you pick either one..
