The hotel is very good!!
The food and the service is good as well!
In particular I liked the waiter Petrobinski very much. He is very friendly and attentive.
I definitely come back there once more!!!!!

Can't imagine anyone writing a bad review for this place. This is our eighth's trip to Caribbean and by far the best. The best food we have had. We found lots of variety in buffet and actually had good flavor. The pasta bar was great. The snack bar had the best fried chicken we ever had on a resort. French fries with Heinz ketchup, couldn't beat it. The staff was always friendly especially Jose on the beach. I would be lying if I said we didn't have ant issues but the good far outweighed the bad. We have learned to overlook the little things and appreciate the big picture which was awesome. We would definitely go back and are already looking into going next year. We paid for VIP which would not be worth it if you like the local beer but we sure enjoyed the Miller GD and other premium drinks. We travelled with a group and everyone agreed it is a great resort.

Room Tip: We had room 2212 which overlooked the beach. We loved it! Rooms near the 24hour bar are a little noi...

For starters the resort was good, food could have been better, but the beautiful beaches made up for most of it. My biggest complaint about this resort is allowing hundreds of spring break teenagers to a "family friendly" place. They should have put a warning of sorts to allow people who just want a vacation to either pick a different place or book at a different time. I personally didn't spend that kind of money to watch teenagers puke in the pool or over balconies and to pick empty cups off the beach so I didn't step on them. It wasn't fair that families changed resorts in the middle of their trip.I believe it should have been better organized. Other then that the maids, bartenders, and staff were exceptional and Minimi of the Animation crew definitely made our trip an amazing one. I would recommend this resort and would go back as long as I know ahead of time that I wouldn't go through what we just did.

The grounds of the resort are absolutely beautiful and welcoming, the only thing more beautiful and welcoming were the staff! The Front Office Manager was extremely attentive and kind and quickly resolved a mix up with our room assignment, as well as giving us a lovely gift basket for the inconvenience! The Bellman on our arrival day, who helped us with our room change was fun and helpful. throughout the week, he made it a point to say hello and ask about our stay. His personal attention made us feel cared about! By far though our favourite colleague was Angelo Ng, the Room Service Waiter. Every morning he delivered our breakfast with a bright smile and infectious happiness. He clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work and loves what he does. He made us feel so spoiled, by always remembering our order, our names, and giving us a lovely going away gift on our last day! We would return to the resort for his service alone! But amazingly the entire resort draws us back and has found its way into our hearts. We both work for a Luxury Hotel chain, and have very high standards and expectations of service. The people at the resort blew those outta the water from the dining rooms, to the swim up bar, and the activities staff. A wonderful example of hospitality and ambassadors for the Dominican Republic.

Had a great time! Loved the layout of the resort everything was so close and required very little walking. The rooms and grounds were always immaculate. Service was outstanding and always with a smile. The guys at the bars (beach and swim up) were amazing. Fridge in room was well stocked. Ate at the Brazillian restaurant twice it was really, really good. The food at the buffet was ok - you could always find something to eat but it was a little hit and miss. Liked how close the resort was to the airport. Would definately consider returning next year.

Overall, a very nice resort! Staff was excellent! Could use a little tweaking overall.
Room safes should be included- not charged extra. Room safes should be electronic in this day and age, key locks are out dated and a pain. ( you are back in your room-should grab the camera! Key on the beach with your spouse!)
Reservations for the restaurants could/should be in the front lobby area. Going to a completely different building to reserve did not make a lot of sense.
While we realize that it is necessary to move people/baggage/supplies from the front of the resort to the other areas, I thought the traffic on the sidewalks was high.
We ate in the main buffet quite often, and there was always something for both of us. It would have been nice to have something with a little less sauce. Plain pork chops, roast beef, roast chicken, etc.
Our room was made up everyday, fresh towels, no hot water problems at any time.
There were a few ignorant people as far as slamming doors, but I don't know how you fix that.
We ate at "La Cava" one night-Highly recommend! Very good! We did not try any of the other A la cartes. Music could use a little help! Same songs over and over get a little tedious!
Beach was marvelous! We never had a problem getting chairs.
Breakfast- Bacon only two days out of ten- only one egg station open most of the time- the cook that was there, however, was very good! Always smiling with four or five orders on the go!
Overall, we would recommend this resort!

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Coralillo" building. No complaints-other than slamming doors!

We booked our holiday through Thomson in the UK and flew out on their new Dreamliner plane which was great, lots more legroom and enough good entertainment to last the long flight.
On arrival we were checked in quickly at the VIP desk, we had booked a Honeymoon suite as this was on special offer, and as it was our wedding anniversary, we thought ‘Why not’
I was so pleased that we did; the suite was fabulous, bottle of cava, bottle of rum, fresh fruit, king size bed, sunken bath, lovely seating area, lots of extras and best of all, our balcony overlooked the beach...stunning.
The beach is the stuff of dreams, powder white sand and turquoise sea. There was plenty of sun beds available, but would recommend an early start if you needed a shaded area.
Tropical gardens were kept spotless and very beautiful by hardworking staff, and they were very pleasant to stroll through up to the lobby bar, spotting the little turtles and wildlife on the way.
The main buffet area had a lot of choice, the only downside was replenishment could have been better, as often empty dishes, no plates etc.
The restaurant staff were lovely; always smiling, pleasant, willing to chat, and not chasing tips.
We did try the al a carte restaurants; and enjoyed all of them, but I think we like the Brazilian one the best, very nice service in all of them. We used to book them before going into breakfast and didn’t normally have to queue for too long.
I think the only downside to the holiday was the fact that, the majority of the guests were French, American or from Eastern Europe, so we found ourselves in the minority as there did not appear to be any other guests from the UK and we did not see the Thomson rep until we were getting on the coach to leave.
