Just returned from a holiday in this hotel, i found the overall experience to be very nice and i have these advices for you future customers:
Try to book a room closer to the see, if you discover at the reception you are all the way to the back try to solve it with the person behind the counter if you get my point.
The food is really good in all the restaurants, we enjoyed the most the Italian one. You have only two tickets for a la carte restaurants but you can get more from the same reception.
Don't fall for the invitation in relation to the time sharing offer, the staff is quite aggressive in their approach, they will try to convince you really hard and they will waste a lot of your time. If you don't accept you will be treated less polite, this experience was a big minus.
The cocktails differ if you give tips or not, which i found quite strange but it's probably to be expected. The room is clean and a dollar a day left on the table will help to keep it as such :)
The activities besides all inclusive are really, really expensive, trips start at 100 dollars, massage 70, haircut 22. This is comparable or even more expensive than in Western Europe and it's not justified. But the resort has many things to offer, enjoy your time and make it a great experience! Regards, Alex

I loved it, would like to return the animation team I really liked bright friendly, chatty my family is super happy, dinner and foot excelletnt... i love grand paradise bavaro. the hotel`s room very confoutable. all service very good

My husband and I went to the Grand Paradise for our 10th anniversary. We absolutely loved it, the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and there was a great variety to chose from, my husband is a very picky eater (will only eat Canadian foods), but i enjoyed trying the local fare. The entertainment was excellent as well, my husband still walks around saying "ah, you lazy, lazy" as the gentleman that ran the games around our pool said when he refused to get up and play along with him.

First I would like to say, that even with our delays (18 hours!) and communication problems travelling with Sunwing, this trip was one of my best trips ever!

The hotel is beautiful, it was larger than I thought it would be, and arriving to the Grand Paradise and seeing on a map that your room is the opposite side of the beach was not the best moment, but it actually turned out to be an amazing thing. It was alot less noisy, not as many people sharing the pool there, you felt like you had the whole pool and pool bar to yourself sometimes. The buffet was a 2 minute walk and to get to the beach it was as simple as hopping on the trolley (which runs 24 hours, and we never waited more than 5 mins for it). The room was the cleanest room I have ever had down south, partly because the maids come in more than once a day..fresh towels all the time was a nice treat! The grounds were very well kept, you can tell they work really hard to keep everything looking nice and landscaped.

The food was excellent as well, the pizza was the best, I think I ate some pizza everyday while I was there because I loved it that much. There was 6 of us, and everyone always found something yummy to eat.

Overall, this was a great resort/vacation, ultimately I go down south for the beach, sun and amazing people and this resort had all that and more! I would specially like to thank Carlos Gil and Felix for being amazing staff and making our vacation that much better with their smiles and service!
