We arranged this tour through our hotel rep. The bus was on time picking us up. Wilson "Pinky" was our guide and was excellent! The ride up/down the mountain is quite an adventure.........
He pointed out local schools supported by a major hotel in the area and also one supported by Canopy Adventure so purchasing this tour helps a local school.
The instruction was very good and we felt safe the whole time on the ziplines. They use a double line for safety, we never had to touch our equipment there was always a guide hooking us up.
If you have any problems with walking or are seriously out of shape forget it as it's a workout walking between some of the platforms.
On the way back you have the opportunity to purchase locally made chocolate, coffee beans and mamajuana (after the chance to sample chocolate and mamajuana).
They have lockers to keep your things in while you're on the ziplines. You cannot take pictures while you're going so you'll have to leave cameras, phones behind. They do have a photographer who will take pics and you can buy the picture cd at the end.
