the course was challenging but is based in an abandoned complex, I think, hard to find and even harder to get in to

“Just average....there are much better courses in D.R.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2011

First off, just getting to the first tee is an adventure in itself. I had to pay $40 U.S. for me and my fiancee to take a cab from our hotel to the course. That's $80 right off the bat. The roads are awful; unpaved and full of potholes, so it is slow going and took us close to 50 mins. to get there. Extremely dissapointed in the lack of amenities at the course. No driving range (range was unknowing planned over an ancient burial ground and is indefinitely suspended), no clubhouse, restrooms are bare and small, no food or drinks, or even a place to hang out and have a beer before or after the round.
Honestly, the golf was pretty good. There are a few really great holes and overall I liked the course. It is a very tough course though, and if you miss a lot of fairways, you will lose a lot of balls - trust me.
The worst part of the whole experience was the staff (or lack of). They almost seem like they don't want you there, or want you to stay for as little time as possible. They will run you off the course at 5:00 p.m. sharp like the fate of the world depends on you being off the property before 5:01. When we complained to the head pro his response was: "A twightlight fee means you only get as many holes as you can in before 5:00pm. That's why you pay a reduced fee." First of all, a twightlight fee means you play as many as you can while it's still light enough, and secondly, when is $140 a reduced fee? If you are determined to play here, bring your own food and water, and tee off in the morning. My advice though, is skip this place and spend your hard earned money down at Teeth of the Dog.

“In for an adventure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2011

It was an awesome experience. The course is so natural and they have protected the environment so well that it is like a safari with an incredible golf course. Few places in the world compare to holes 17 and 18. It does take a little patience to get over the roads, but they tell me the construction should start before long and that should get better. I say play it now before it fills up, cuz we only saw a couple people the whole day. The most relaxing day of golf ever. oh, but play in the morning is my recommendation - they have a strange schedule and close at 5 pm - which they also tell me is temporary.

“False advertising”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2010

This course is a joke, what a waste of good money.
First you need a four wheel drive to get through the twenty minute drive into the pro shop then transfer your clubs to another four wheel drive to get to the first hole, tee off time was 1pm and we were told by the staff on the 11th hole to move to the 16th so we could be off the course by 4:45pm.
What a RIP
