I have been to many 5* resorts in Punta Cana and this by far is no where near a 5*!!! They tried to make it look modern instead it just looks cheap. In most of the resorts the main entrance is elegant, this one was so terrible I can\t even describe it!! The best comment I could actually give this resort is that the staff whether it was housekeeping or servers are EXCELLENTE!...THEY NEED TO GO WORK AT AN UPSCALE RESORT where their personality and quality of service match the resort. The food was terrible and same buffet for breakfast etc. daily Italian restaurant horrible, steak house ok if you order portebella mushroom as your entree...etc....

I was never before at the Dom. Rep., but we will never go to another hotel, because we loved it. The check in with Jesus was so special nice!
Our room was very clean & good, but it was with garten view, that was not so beautiful , but we were so seldom in the room, just for sleeping and have a shower ;)
The beach is very nice & clean! When you are thirsty, Santa is there and will bring you some good drinks. The hole day, the funny guys from entertainment staff (AKON!!!, Speedy!! & Mickey Mouse) were around and get the guests high spirits with: dancing, beachen, beach soccer, some very special and funny games, water balloon fights in the pool... but water fights were very dangerous for Carlos and Martinez :) Time at the poolbar with Fransisco(Vitaminaaa :)), Domingo & Jose was also super!
Dinner at the Now Larimar: French (Capers) & Italy (Mercure) was good, but we liked more the La Riviera Restaurant, because the staff there is so nice (Edis, Jenson "button" & Mequey nr. 1:)and ALL others!) & the selection was great!
In the night club were then also the entertainment guys and made a show and they danced with everyone, also with me although I'm so untalented. Akon & speedy are my heroes! :)
so all together, I can't say anything bad about the hotel! It was excellente!! :) gracias!

My husband and I spent a week at Secrets Resort for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive and kind. Jacky found us nearly every day to check and see how are stay was... EXCELLENTE!!
Thank you to Jacky, Junior, Erison and the girls at the spa for our wonderful massages!! Thank you to the rest of the team at Secrets that I did not mention. It took all of you to make things as pleasant as they were!! Well done!! :)
The excursions were money well spent. Very informative and fun!

This was our 2nd trip to this resort this year and as it was our 14th trip to DR we feel this will become one of the best resorts in punta cana.
Food on secrets side is great. We had no issues with tummy trouble and my father has coeliac disease which the felt with very efficiently. We do make sure to only use bottled water - even for brushing teeth - and are very careful about pool water splashes near drinks etc. We found the food on Now side hit and miss, especially blue water grill which was awful but always had good service in Now (hola little Maria & Browlyo).
Service in secrets is OUTSTANDING!!! It was better than our 1st visit which I believe is in part to the addition of Ricardo Rodriguez who we were very happy to see again from Iberostar Grand together with some of his former staff this is another reason I believe this resort will become one of the best. I would like to single out Jeffrey, Jose A bar Mary hostess Jesus front desk and all the ladies including the female manager in the evening lobby/plaza for an Excellente job - you made our trip very special.
It was my husbands birthday whilst in resort and would like to thank you for the fab cake and fizz - he was very pleased.
