We just got back from our 2 week vacation at Secrets Royal Beach and after being there five times now I thought it was time for us to say "thanks again" for the Great Holiday. The rooms, the service, the food, the people are all wonderful. We'd like them all to know we will be coming back again in April 2013 to do it all over again and have another Great Holiday !!!

My husband & I just returned after 10 wonderful days at the Secrets Royal Beach Resort. This was our first time to the Dominican Republic and we found it to be a very friendly & safe island. The staff at the resort are courteous, but there is somewhat of a language barrier, as they all seem to be trying to learn English. The pools are beautiful and the lazy river is very relaxing. The pool bar staff were the best, Jefrey, Angel, & Junior are great! We also loved the entertainment team, Akon, Speedy, & Micky, who kept us entertained from morning to night. We would definitively recommend the Lobster Dinner on the beach on Friday nights, it was worth every penny. Don't waste your time at the Spice restaurant at the Now resort, it was the worst meal ever! We do wish that there were more restaurants on the Secrets side of the resort, so that we didn't have to be around other peoples screaming children. And stick to only bottled water, many people at the resort got sick, including my husband! We had a great vacation, but it's a very long flight from California.

Oct.15-Nov.3/12 Just back from another great holiday at Secrets Royal Beach. We were treated like royalty fr all the staff in the buffet restaurant The Riviera,Manager Carlos Familia is so nice along with his assistance Lou -for short) Juan Carlos, Somora,Santos,Maguel,Waiters Felix,Menquis,Gilbel,Faustino,Yovanney,Victor,Alexander and Sexy Jencen,Waitress's Hosafa, Carmen, Jacquelin, Eladia,Rosa, Clarbbel, (too many to name them all).Hostess's Mary,Nadalin?,and a couple of others were always there to greet us and take us to our special table.. The food is very good and has a good selection to pick from. The Ala Carte restaurants were very good aspecially the Seaside Grill -It served a special each night-Friday was Seafood on the Barbecue(shrimp,lobster,mussels,and fish) Manager Juan Carlos is very pleasant and puts his best foot forward when greeting his quests. The Oceana had a nice steak served just right ,has a very nice Manager Manuel and very friendly staff.The Lazy River is great to swim around every day and visit the pool bar who have a great staff there -Bartenders Carlos,Patricia,Santa,Alba,Angel and Junior(some of these people serve you at the beach) We had the best service ever from all of these people and more. Beach is very very clean ,due to Franklin and Domingo to name a couple who work very hard to keep it clean all day,starting at 6;30 a m. We will be back mid January for 3 wks. My husband and I are just back from 2 weeks staying at Secrets Royal Beach. We had a fabulous holiday. In fact we have visited approx 6-7 all inclusive Hotels in the Carribean and this was the best. Also, the staff are great fun and very attentive. A special mention to Zamora (Coffee, Coffee, Coffee) at the main restaurant, Junior, Jefrey and Angel at the pool bar and a special Thanks to Speedy and Mickey the entertainments team- they were great fun!!! The rooms were lovely, so all in all no complaints.This hotel was adults only, which we loved, but you could use Now Larimar next door which we did and their restaurants were also excellent.
