We stayed at Paradisus Punta Cana at christmas. It was an excellent and unforgetable experience. Wonderful hospitality and service. The food was great and friendly staff. Good entertainment. very attentive staff, nice rooms, and a beautiful location. If you want relaxation or a fun place to either plan an adventure (sports, dolphins,zip line,snorkel,boating etc)....great place. Food is average, but there are many cuisines to chose from with 7 different restaurants. Best restaurants there are the Grill(steak) and the Japanese restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are mainly buffet.

We four Seniors ladies traveled to Paradisus Punta Cana Dec 10-18th and had a marvelous time. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well manicured. It was the most beautiful resort we saw. The proximity of the rooms to the beach was wonderful and traveling to most of the restaurants not a problem with the tram service. All employees were extremely friendly and always had a smile on their face. Language was not generally a problem as most spoke English. We couldn't have asked for a friendlier group of people. We found most restaurants served delicious food with the exception of the breafast buffet, it could stand some improvement with menu selection and layout. We did not ask and would like to know if there was a sit-down order breakfast restaurant. The food service was pleasant and usually very prompt. We enjoyed the stage shows nightly and the cast members in other hotel positions was a treat to run across. Our local hangout was of course the lobby bar, with our favorite bartender Roberto Espinal who always remembered what we were drinking. We will miss you Paradisus...until next we meet. Highly recomend this hotel.

Paradisius has lounging down to a fine art-we loved the cushy lounging on the beach that goes with the Royal Service. The beach location is magnificent.The service was excellent-we would like to cite Jeremia mato and Jose Reyes at the Beach and thank them for their wonderfully attentive service during our stay. The grounds are lovely. We were disappointed in the buffet restaurants-the rooms were relatively small making it difficult to manoevre around and the selection was limited at Lunch and Dinner. We were alarmed to have been served 4 raw hambugers four times(we believe the hamburger had some pork in it) and we also spoke with a guest who had food poisoning and let the Hotel manager know. It is important to be aware of these things and to bring it to the attention of management so they take corrective action.We have been to two other Hotels in Punta Cana at similar star rating and the buffet spreads were pheniomenal-for example-every night there were fresh roasts of two types served fresh so it was more than casseroles that were served. There were also pasta stations and pizza, lots of vegetable choices. The a la carte Palazzo has excellent food and the Grill has good steak.
