“Oracle Bob's sanctuary experience in Punta Cana”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

While this resort offers all-inclusive and non-inclusive stays by far the best deal is the all-inclusive stay. We stayed in the part of the resort known as the castle, The accommodations were truly five star it is my understanding that they are remodeling the castle but I'm not sure why. The entire property is immaculate and constantly being manicured; The ocean views and peaches are exquisite, there are more than a half a dozen outdoor pools as well as numerous indoor pools. The food and bar service in your room is available 24 hours a day, several of the bars have top shelf liquor available, The food is indescribable and almost all nations are available in the choice of six different restaurants. The staff was truly there to make my vacation effortless, The nightly entertainment was versatile in included many live performances. My balcony overlooking the ocean was over 650 ft.² we stayed seven days in the cost per person was less than thousand dollars
I will say this is geared more towards couples and singles that you had to be a hermit not to enjoy yourself and mingle with the guest and the staff

This will deathly not be my last trip to the sanctuary

Room Tip: I recommend getting in a suite in the castle as it is the best in value

My husband and I have been to Punta Cana 9 times and stayed at this resort 3 times. This was the first year we took 2 of our children with us. A special thank you to Hector Alfaro for making this trip the most magical family vacation ever!!! Everything about this resort is awesome - from the rooms to the food, location, atmosphere, and the best service one could ever want! We are already planning to go back next summer, so hopefully the resort will be back up and running by then with the same staff!! Thank you Hector and staff for such a magical vacation for our family!!!!

I have been to the Sanctuary twice this year. My first visit was in March when we stayed for 5 days (Rm 1011) for a friend's wedding at another resort. Boy am I glad I came across this hotel! I am familiar with Punta Cana as I have been 20+ times and have stayed at almost as many different resorts. Sanctuary Cap Cana is by far my favorite! It is quaint and small unlike the normal massive resort complex's normally seen. The grounds and layout are beautifully designed and cared for. While not every restaurant on the property is open every night, the food is very good, the Steakhouse and Italian were our favorite! The staff was very helpful and accommodating, as on our second trip in July we had an issue with our air conditioner but were moved to another villa (1004) that we actually loved just as much, the view wasn't as good but it was very private, I even slept outside a few nights! The breeze coming off the ocean at night is very refreshing. Hector and Alexander at the front desk are wonderful! They were extremely helpful and friendly, every time we would pass them they always made sure to ask how things were going and if they could do anything for us. Joanna in the piano bar is a sweetheart, wonderful young girl who is putting herself through the university to become a lawyer. She made you want to stay for hours and always had a smile on her face while singing or dancing around. We will 100% be returning along with an entourage next year as we have decided to book our wedding at the Sanctuary, of course I'll be returning in the winter when they finish their renovations because I'll be ready to be back in my villa by then! I have a time share with another resort in Punta Cana, wish this property had one too!

Room Tip: The monarch villas are the perfect private retreat for couples! Very private and spacious with amazi...

Vacation/honeymoon here June 7-13
Sanctuary was pure heaven on earth.
Grounds were beautiful and well kept.
Pools were amazing and never crowded.
Our villa #1004 was amazing, litterally 10 steps to the beautiful blue water. Yes, it was a little worn, but easy to look over this.

Restaurants:
Steakhouse was by far our favorite.

Usually had lunch at Blue Marlin or buffet at Casa Bella. Both we're good.

Had breakfast every morning at Casa Bella. The buffet and omelet station were GREAT!!!

Like other reviews, if you are looking for nightlife or loud music this place is NOT for you. It is however TOTAL RELAXATION!!!!

Can't leave out Inoska.
She is the most amazing, friendly hostess.
She always greeted us with her beautiful smile at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Can't wait to return.

My husband and I just got back from this hotel; we love it. The architecture is beautiful; it feels like being in the "colonial era"...I've been to (5) hotels in Punta Cana, by far this has been the most beautiful and peaceful. Everyone went out of their way to make this a great experience for us. I was celebrating my birthday, Raul Mendez (Food & Bar) manager made our stay extra special. The pools were clean and for the most part empty so we always felt in a private environment. The best quality of this hotel is the service and the employees; they truly cared and were quick to try to fix any issues. The Blue Marlin (Seafood) & Steak House were excellent. The place does need some TLC to make it a "5" star hotel; this is something they are planning to do this fall. We would recommend this hotel for its beauty, service, and location as well as food and privacy.

Room Tip: The beach front private villas looked amazing..

The resort arranged for a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and from the moment we met our guide to the time we returned to the airport, the Dominican hospitality was felt. Our room wasn't quite ready when we got here (we came earlier than check-in) so they invited us to check our luggage and bags and explore the resort and have some lunch. The views from the ocean front restaurant are breathtaking, and the food was just as good.

The entire trip we had no complaints from the service to the staff. The hotel room was clean and beautiful, with a view of the ocean.

We enjoyed all of the food we ate at the many restaurants. The Asian one at the castle was closed because they were starting renovations for the upcoming high-season, which should be completed in December. From what we saw however, they don't need to do much. But we hear the resort is only going to get better! We really loved all the food.

All of the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, but the entertainment staff was top-notch. David, Ramon, Menor, and Robert provided activities and entertainment all day, every day from 10am until 1am. Pool parties, dance lessons, Spanish lessons and karaoke were our favorites. As was the mojito tasting. They made sure we had fun and enjoyed our days by the pool. They even took notice when we weren't at activities because we were off doing excursions. Their love for fun rubbed off on us!

We went and had a couples massage at the spa before it was moved from the castle. They are renovating it as well. The spa staff was amazing and so was our massage!

My only negative is that the one restaurant, the casino and the ocean lounge bar in the castle were closed for renovations. But that didn't take away from the amazing vacation we had.

Cap cana is it's own private oasis. If you want a resort that is not on the main strip at Punta Cana, The Sanctuary is the place to go. We will surely be back!!

The site is lovely and the food certainly interesting enough to find something you like at the various restaurants, but what made our trip here really exciting was the entertainment staff. They were tireless in terms of offering fun activities that made making friends on the property easy! They also were respectful when you wanted some private time to sit by the pool. Our trip would not have been the same without Menor, Ramon, Roberto and especially David.
