The Village Caraibe timeshare villas are part of the Fun Tropicale resort. There are many activities at the complex...tennis, salsa and merengue lessons, volleyball and ping pong tournaments, aerobics classes, Spanish lessons...etc, etc....plenty to do! The staff were generally quite helpful and the nightly "shows" were fun to watch! The accommodations are basic and quite shabby...the sofa cushions and curtains were downright filthy! Many of the amenities in the kitchenette were lacking ( took six days to get the toaster we were promised) and we encountered more problems with a plugged-up bathtub, missing lightbulbs, a noisy fan that wobbled and bugs...cockroach, spiders and tiny ants! Would we return here...NO! Once bitten, twice shy!
