This hotel has parking which is a bonus in this area. There was also free wi fi in the rooms. The hotel is easy walking distance to all the sights in the Colonial Zone. The rooms are a bit dark as is normal for older buildings built before A/C but were clean and the bed was comfy and there was a fridge. Buffet style breakfast served from 7 o'clock was fine with a hot and cold selection and delicious croissant. There is a swimming pool on the roof with was welcome after a days sight seeing. The rooms appear to be graded and we were given a one star room on the ground floor No 113 with a noisey floor mounted A/C. There was a very odd arrangement with a well in the corner of the room which must have been a leftover from when the building did not have piped water and possibly left as a "feature" . It was covered with a plate glass cover but not sealed. Cockroaches love this sort of damp, dark environment as we found on our second night and we requested a move to another room which the hotel provided without problem. No problem with the well but the management should ensure it is properly sealed.
