“Easy access”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Compared to the other falls I understand this has the easiest access. Looks nice and the pool is refreshing, other than that there is not too much todo. If you have a child this is not suitable for buggy's. I would recommend a visit

“Pretty but”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

This is about the easiest fall to get to and it is pretty but not spectacular. It's a nice walk! The fall is not very high and it drops vertically into a round pool . There are adjacent pools and lots of bric a brac stalls

“Very nice.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

The view is spectacular. If you are on a cruise, choose another activity because the place will be very crowded. I was not on a cruise and was annoyed. There's very little space around the pool, so it's difficult to access the pool and to take off your shorts and shirt without enough elbow room. Getting into the pool can be dangerous, so I suggest you go in wearing hiking sandals, or some type of light shoe because the rocks around the pool are very slippery. The water is ice cold. Be considerate and don't create unnecessary waves or splash that could bother other people trying to get their picture.

“Careful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Bit of a hike but it's worth it.
If you're on a cruise excursion, be aware that this place will be crowded and it's hard to maneuver around people, especially at the pool itself as it's very rocky and wet.
Have your camera ready as the views are gorgeous.
The trail is a bit treacherous, especially on the way back but if you can handle it, do it.
Natives say a dip in the pool will reverse 10 years of aging, so take a dip!

“Worth the hike!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Emerald Falls is breathtaking! The short hike is fairly easy, but if you are not in decent shape, the hike back up with be slow going. Wear appropriate shoes! We recommend Keens or the like. The path can be muddy and slippery. You can swim in the pool - it is cold but so beautiful you'll be glad you made the trip!
