My Stay at The Evergreen Hotel was a pleasant one. The hotel is quaint, but clean and is set in a beautiful location.
A group of us stayed there almost filling the entire Hotel, as we were there for a wedding.
My Girlfriend and I were fortunate to get a sea view room, as we were one of the first to arrive, unfortunately some were given rooms on the roadside which they said were quite noisy. Also our room was very large with 2 balconys, where as the roadside rooms were alot smaller. This is because there are 2 seperate blocks, with the 'seaview' one being the newest build, so when you book, I recommend asking for a seaview room.
The Hotels only restaurant is sat virtually right on the coastline, and serves a very tasty breakfast and good quality meals, although be prepared for quite slow service. The pool area is clean and nice to sit and relax in, and the pool itself is also kept very clean.
You're a short bus ride into the town of Roseau which is good to have a look around, if you can catch it on market day you should get some good bargains.
The Hotel is also right next door to a Diving centre, where you can book Diving sessions, sea fishing, and a whale & dolphin safari. The latter is definitley worth it. We managed to see lots of whales when we were taken out.
Overall you can't really fault the hotel, my only advice would be to make sure your days are planned well so your not spending a great deal of time at the hotel, otherwise you may get a little bored. Its a great place to come back to in the evening however, and a great place to wake up in in the morning...
