5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

I booked in for a week, but after 3 days decided to stay for another one, because the apartments are excellent - spacious, clean, modern, well equipped and run by the nicest person on the island. Cute little pool area in the back, chinese shop and busstop right across the street (never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to either get a big or a small bus to Punda, from where you can get busses to anywhere else, e.g. Mambobeach). Supermarket, ATM, Subways, KFC and some other shops in walking distance. Car rental arranged by Paul, who gives you a detailled map which helps to easily find your way on the island. I highly recommend Quint's Travellodge!

Tipp: Bon Bini supermarket is jammed and quiet expensive, whereas Centrum supermarket Mahaai (both on google maps) is huge, modern and has pretty much everything you desire.

Beautiful room, pool and friendly staff! Best to call and have someone meet you at airport and lead you to the Travelodge the first time. We could not locate it at after dark. Best part of our whole stay in Curacao! Good security measures at Quints.

Be very careful if touring the island! Our rental car was broken into at Caracus Bay (Caracasbaai) - the thieves smashed the driver's window, popped the locked trunk open with the lever next to the driver's seat and stole my pocketbook (money, passport, etc.). Car alarm did not go off. Best to leave car windows down, doors unlocked and anything of value at the hotel.

Room Tip: Had a king suite - stove, microwave, small refrigerator, king bed. Very comfortable! Best part of...

Thank you Paul Guthman! Paul is the Managing Director of this sweet lodge. The studio w/king bed was new and spotless. Nice size room, VERY nice furniture. tile floors, small but full kitchen, table and chairs, large TV, A/C, NICE bed, NICE shower stall w/glass enclosure, sink and WC, sitting area and large doors which open up towards the pool and palms! If you plan to pay for the breakfast, it is well worth it! Paul is a terrific guy and he helped us plan our whole week. One thing though, one needs transportation. Rental cars are reasonably priced and small, which is a good thing! Other than that, Quint's Lodge is a lovely place. Thank you Paul and Jay!

Room Tip: All rooms are on 2nd floor. Very quiet. A/C units run on batteries and work well. Be cognizant of...

This is the second time I stayed at Paul's brandnew and very well furnished appartments.
The rooms are very well equipped, brandnew ( maybe 2 years...) Internet working well, too.
Location easy to find, quite in the middle of the area, Salinja very close, Punda and Otrobanda easy to reach.
Supermarket nearby, very nice uppety shopping mal close by (Zuikertuin).
It's just a pleasure.
Slight disadvantage:if you travel with heavy suitcase: Steep stairs up, but that's minor.
Paul is very helpful, knows a lot about the business community.
Definitely will go back there again!
(A little hint: the shower door opens to the inside, so you might knock it against the shower head....)

We rented a studio for only one night in march 2014 : the room was spacious - well equiped - modern and very pleasant.
Nice bathroom too.
We could keep the studio until our departure late afternoon.
The only "downside" is the reception which is only manned a few hours per day ; fortunately the lady in charge of cleaning is very helpful and nice.
A good address recommended.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and I think we could not have made a better choice. Good location and easy access, with parking lot, close to the city center, quiet at night, safe.
Brand new apartments, furniture, well decorated. Nice pool (little cold though) and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal outside.
Very clean and the bed is huge and comfortable. The equipped kitchen makes it easy to have a choice of an affordable breakfast, made your own way.
You will need a car, buses are not very good and they take too long to go anywhere. Be sure you get a GPS as well, because the streets have no signs with names, and guiding yourself by the maps is not a good idea, there are a lot mistakes in the map. Not easy to get around in the first days. You will also need a car to go to north beaches (they are really worth it).
Don't miss Cas Abao beach, in our opinion it is the most beautiful beach in Curaçao.
Staff is very nice and helped us book a trip to Klein Curaçao. The only thing is that they are not very good in answering emails, but once you get there, they will assist you in their best way.
About the trip to Klein Curaçao: the island is very beautiful but the boat takes too long to get there. You go early in the morning 6:30 am and come back late 6:00 pm. So you stay the whole day over there, not sure if I recommend, we went with Miss Ann boat trips, if you go there, take the catamaran, is faster and has a better structure over there in the beach (chairs, etc), is cheaper and has alcoholic beverages included, such as wine. Miss Ann boat trips don't have that and is more expensive.

Very clean modern studios, the maid even does your dishes! Well equipped (stove, microwave, small fridge with freezer, phone, air conditioning, hd-tv) and nice shower. King bed was comfortable and staffs were very nice and helpful. Satellite TV wasn't easy to operate but we got the hang of it. Corner store is of walking distance and Quint's Travelodge is only 1.5km from a large grocery store and 9km from downtown Willemstad. Pool is small but not busy at all! I recommend you rent a car and explore the island (finding your way around isn't always easy, but you can't get lost on a small island). Incredible value!

Room Tip: If you chose Quint's Travelodge you need a car (rent)
