“A cute bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

A very nice bridge. Sturdy. I liked that it sounds like you're walking on a wooden galleon from the 17th century.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This bridge is something to see. You must also walk across it to experience it fully.Hopefully, you will get to see a cruise ship or other large boat go through. Its also cool to be on it when the siren blows signaling its going to open.

“It's definitely floating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

We walked across the bridge, looked around on the other side, then walked back. It was pretty cool, but the floating made me a little sick...

“This bridge has character!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

This bridge opens up to allow passing vessels, with no more warning that blaring bells. We were crossing the bridge, and assumed (incorrectly) the warning bells meant to clear the bridge, so they could open it. Wrong! The bridge opens if people are on it. If a large ship is coming through, it could stay open as long as a half hour (or more).

There is a street cafe at the foot of the bridge. We enjoyed sitting there, relaxing, watching the reaction of others, as they got stuck on the bridge (just as we did, early in our stay).

“Pretty Neat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Take a seat at Iguana's Cafe, have lunch and watch how this bridge opens and closes to let the boats go through. Kids really enjoyed it. There was a huge naval ship when we were there. A must see if you are on the island!
