“Neat Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Not much to say here, just need to experience this for yourself. Just a fun thing to see and experience both walking across and to watch as the bridge fires up it's boat motors and swings open like a large gate across the river which leads to a large protected harbor near the refinery. It is very impressive to sit along the dock and watch giant ships coming through just feet away from you.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Pontoon bridge which connects Otrabanda and Punde, for pedestrians, cyclists and tuk tuk. Amazing piece of engineering which is powered at one end so that it can swing open to allow tankers and other shipping to access the oil terminal, container port and harbour. Lit up at night, open 24/7 unless shipping needing access.

A must visit. Make sure to see the bridge open and close. The scenery on both sides of the bridge are very picturesque.

“Unique”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

A must see. Very unique bridge. You can be on the bridge when it opens and closes. Bridge operator is extremely nice, waiting for people to get on the bridge before opening it.

“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

If you are in Curaçao, don't miss this bridge. While walking over it you can take great pics of Otrabanda and Punda. But just standing on either side, it's fascinating to watch the floating bridge open for ships to go through. A landmark for Curaçao worth seeing!
