We learned so much about Ostriches and then I rode one. So much fun and very exciting. We even ate ostrich.

“Bird brains are fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

This was a hoot. We paid admission, and took the tour on the vehicle. Our driver, Alexander, spoke in both Dutch and English. He was informative and funny. Who knew that male ostriches have pink beaks and legs when they are the dominant ones? He convinced one big male to do his "warning dance" when Alexander approached too close, which was a seriously weird thing to see. Alexander did it twice, just because we couldn't believe it. Google it, you'll see what I mean. The babies were really cute, including ostrich, emu, and pigs. The love birds and parrots in the visitors' room were very interactive with visitors. If you are in Curacao with kids, don't miss this. My husband and I thought it well worth a visit.

“fantastic tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

We had a great time here. Mike our tour guide on the farm was very funny and informative. We saw the ostrich dance, fed some ostrich, and were able to stand on an egg. The chicks were adorable. The gift shop had very nice and different souvenirs. The facilities were very clean. We did not stop long enough to try the food in the restaurant, unfortunately.

“Phenomenal meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

We took an afternoon tour of the aloe vera plantation and the ostrich farm, which was followed by a meal at the ostrich farm. Aloe vera plantation was interesting, got to learn a bit about the set up they have there. The ostrich farm was really great, had a very knowledgeable tour guide, got to feed ostriches and stand on an ostrich egg. The meal afterwards was incredible. We had ostrich carpaccio followed by ostrich steaks and a cream-filled pastry for dessert - amazing. We both found it to be the best meal of our trip to Curacao. The package for both the tours and meal plus transportation was only $60 per person - totally worth it!

“Neat experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

Neat experience if your looking for something different. The farm is not huge, but adequately sized. Fed the birds, and learned a lot. Beware there are no taxi stands near the farm so you must hire taxi to take you, and either wait on you or set a time to come pick you up. The taxi fare was just as much as the farm tour from the port.
