Together with two friends, I stayed at Ana's last year. We had checked a number of Casas in Habana and our main priority was to be in a safe, well located house. La Casa de Ana is exactly like this and it was a true enhancer to our cuban experience.

Please think twice before going to a hotel in Cuba since living in a casa particular is definitely going to provide you with a much more life enriching experience.

We are planning on going back sometime this year (probably in the winter time).

Everything has been said for Ana and Pepe. My friend and I chose them on Tripadvisor and we did not regret; everything that has been said in other reviews. They all are very friendly and genuine people, the room was clean and spacious.

We had trouble with our luggage which arrived 4 days after us and if there wasn't Pepe to call the airport many many times we wouldn't be able to solve the problem. We could never get that kind of service and attention if we were staying in Hotel.

We spent 1 week in Holguin recouperating from our wedding, and then spent 4 days in Havana to learn a bit more about Cuban Culture. Anna and Pepe's house was perfect for this. We had a wonderful tour of Havana with Pepe. Where we learned so much about the history and the stories of the places we visited. Thank you Pepe! Anna's house is very clean and the breakfasts were hearty and fresh. Their restaurant recomendations were also spot on. When it comes to Havana Anna and Pepe are experts. We want to thank them both for making our honeymoon very special.

So great staying at Casa de Ana. We felt better than being at home pumpered by one´s parents. Not just being friendly, loving and caring hosts, they provided us with our itinerary including accommodation in Cuba, cooked for us meals whenever we felt like, showed us around Havana as our tour guides, gave us useful tips everyday, and even the last day when we went to see a Cuban show, Pepe (Ana´s husband) lent us a couple of shirts to attend as we only had t-shirts.

We really loved this proud and educated people, and all the people surrounding them. They really made everybody around them feel really happy and enthusiastic, and everybody clicked together. Just to visit them I would go back to Havana.
