We really liked this little hostel, definitely more of a guest house above a restaurant... the room was clean, the bed comfortable and location fantastic! the foot isn't bad either!! :)

the staff was a bit of a mix - there definitely seems to be two teams that rotate.. for our first two days what we affectionately called team A - who were brilliant! really good fun, really helpful, friendly - went out of their way to make us feel at home. on our last night we even sat up and had a couple of mojitos with the manager and her husband that had come to pick her up...

Team B were not as friendly but fine - but that may have been because we were leaving...

It has a great flamengo show that is worth checking out.. be warned tho' if you like early nights this is not the place as the rooms are above the restaurant so you can here the music... if you are happy that it's not quite until 11am then this could be the place for you... we loved it and if we were going back we would go back...

be warned tho' if you have kids... the stairs up to the rooms are steep!

This little hotel is fantastic. Rooms are upstairs from a restaurant (shared entry). This restaurant serves guests breakfast. Location is ideal, right in Habana Vieja, steps from the main square in one direction, Plaza San Francisco in another, and Ambos Mundos in another. Really ideal. Nighttime Flamenco entertainment at the restaurant is great if you are too exhausted to venture out. More importantly, I was a solo female traveler and was not comfortable walking un-lit streets late at night, so settling in to a Flamenco performance downstairs was easy, safe, and enjoyable! I will definitely be staying here again.

This is a restaurant with rooms available upstairs. Definitely not a hotel. Surly, unhelpful staff (lots of them but no one seems to do anything). They seemed put out that there were rooms there, that they
had to check us in and serve us breakfast. The rooms are large and clean and the location was very central. Overall, ok but I would not recommend it as a place to stay. You'd be better off in a proper hotel.

A gorgeous small hotel with only 5 rooms above a Flamingo Bar. The location is brilliant in the middle of Old Havana and the staff are friendly. Great food with an excellent atmosphere with live Flamingo dancers most nights. Would definately recommend.
