Located in Habana vieja, very central, the building is very beautiful, with 3 patios and a colonial atmosphere. Unfortunately, the comfort was also the one you would have had in colonial times: our suite was enormous, with a 4 meter high ceiling, there were no rugs anywhere to be seen, not even for coming out of the shower. To watch TV, you had to sit on some very uncomfortable chairs, and the tunning was bad. The toilet flush ran noisily all the time we were there, though we twice complained at the reception. It was impossible to have a shower without causing a flood in the bathroom. There were two beds, covered with the narrowest bedsheets I have ever seen: after a few minutes in bed you`d be laying on the bare matress (not very hygienic). Breakfast was taken in a very chilly room. The bread was mostly not fresh, the milk tasted funny and a lot of leftovers from the previous night`s dinner were served. There was almost no fruit. To top it all, the price was absurdly high: 130 CUC per night, plus 5 CUC to leave the car in a nearby car park.
