It was a great place to start our trip and the place is actually clean and the food is nice.
Just don't trust the front desk to tell you where to eat outside their premises. We got ripped off $44.00 convertibles on a meal at a Paladares (local's house) recommended by the hotel. They said it was gonna be much cheaper then a local restaurant and it was not. I'm sure that the Hotel staff made some money out of this. We felt cheated by the front desk and did not trust them after that.
If you want to know about food and good prices ask someone that had been to Cuba and can recommend you to a good place.
