First time we discovered the "Hostal Conde de Villanueva" was on Oct. 99. And we fell apasionately in love with this incredible charming hotel as a little precious thing inmersed in the hart of Havana Vieja. Coming back on three times Conde de Villanueva means the true blue choice for us: XXL rooms with old fornitures, lovely balconies and spacious bathrooms.

The 'Vuelta Abajo' Restaurant is probably one of the best restaurants in the city and never crowded. The chef, Basilio, ensures always his very best to show his expertise with delicious colonial dishes, rescued from XVIII-XIX traditional cuban cuisine.

When you go downtairs you can breath the colonial atmosphere living the environment of old fashion times enjoy the breakfast with 'Sebastián', the lovely peacock. And be sure the Staff is high professional.
