Wandering through Havana, the music from here was enticing. The bar seemed very nice, and the toilet attendant was having an amazing time bopping with the lead singer. The music was very good- this was mid afternoon
Perhaps daftly, we didn't ask to look at a menu, and ordered a couple of Mojitos - which were real good. We asked to pay, and got charged over triple compared to a bar just up the street. This was still cheap (for the English) but that is besides the point - the place would have got an excellent review had it not have been for the staff wanting to rip the tourists off - and he'd have got a decent tip too!
So, on that basis, I would recommend you find a bar that you can trust instead- there's a little 'yard' on the corner of the harbour not so far from here called Nelson's - that has separate 'bars' for separate drinks. We had Pina Coladas here (pour your own measure(s) of rum!! The staff were friendly, music and atmosphere good, and you could sit outside - would recommend here instead - and you don't get ripped off- the drinks were a fraction of the Cafe de Paris!
