Hotel Florida had everything we were hoping for: central location in old old town, quiet enough except for the car alarm the first night for about an hour, decent enough food and excellent coffee and milk and fruit, air conditioning, a balcony, an excellent bottle of rum and standard cuban soda/cola in the mini-fridge along with a half-kilo of dark cuban coffee (a gift for my father), comfortable enough beds, and no surprises, we were expecting cuba to have shortages of things like soap and tissue so make sure to always bring your own! And bring extra money also because the dollar is very weak and you get a poor exchange rate.
