We spent 5 nights at the nH Parque Central. We agree with much of what others have written, but there were a couple of things that we wanted to add. The rooms are lovely, although without any ambiance or local "flavour". The bathtubs are extremely narrow, and for those people who are wider than average, a bath in these tubs would be uncomfortable if not impossible! However, the separate shower is very accommodating! The bathrobes were a nice extra. Our room was kept well, and we received chocolates on our pillows and a lovely note from our maid when we left her a gift. The service at the breakfast buffet was pleasant enough, but often inattentive. We were concerned to notice that the cutlery and dishes on the tables were sometimes not completely replaced after guests left (there was no way for the person setting the table to know for sure if this cutlery had been used or otherwise dirtied by the previous customer). Service at the lobby bar was slow, particularly when ordering food. The 3 lobby elevators were often slow and one was regularly out of service, making a walk to our room on the 4th floor a much quicker option. Two hints for pool-users: 1. take any elevator to the 8th floor, climb up the 4 or 5 steps to the 9th floor and you'll be at the pool much faster than waiting for the single elevator that goes to the 9th floor; 2. take your room towel and/or robe to the pool as they are frequently out of pool towels.
