Not realy very good.
Staff attitude was BIG problem, 5* it definatly is NOT.
The staff realy would do nothing (not even supply plug adapters) and EVERYTHING was a BIG problem.
From the moment you step through the frount door past five (yes five) miserbale security personnel, to trying to get any attention at reception, it goes horribly wrong.
The food was disgusting, and often there was no cutlary or plates, cups etc.
Security was everywhere, and definatly NOT from the school of charm; even as a guest you feel they have a problem with you. They stand bold at every door and lift, but will never smile, say hello, let alone actualy open the door!
Which is strange givern the bars were all frequented by persistant "ladies of the night" .. all of which was under the ever watchfull eyes of the 'security personnel'.. make your own conclusions.
The location is good, but the swimming pool is definatly NOT heated, it was freezing even on a hot day. The top floor glass nightclub/bar worth a visit, just for the veiw.
*My tip would be to book the National, just down the road, and a genunie 5*-
Very plush, excellent staff and surrowndings.. and it was only $(US)10 extra per night!*
The Tryp Habana is not bad as cuban standards go (they are not good) but do NOT expect 5*.. that it definatly isnt, more like 3*.
