Casa Luis Miguel was the perfect experience of Havana. The home has been in Luis Miguel's family for hundreds of years and is beautifully decorated with antiques.

It's in a perfectly convenient location that feels like "real Havana". It's in the center of Havana so it's not surrounded by hotels but surrounded by old beautiful (yet crumbling) buildings. It's just a block to the malecon so very easy to walk or taxi to anything.

Luis Miguel is incredibly helpful and friendly. He will help you arrange whatever activities you hope to do while in Havana. He arranged salsa dance lessons for my friend and I and even walked us to our first couple lessons so we didn't lose our way.

I felt very safe and comfortable at Casa Luis Miguel and I highly recommend it! Also, be sure to have a few meals there at least - it is in general much more delicious than what you can find at restaurants!
