After many years of diving at Bonaire this was my first successful attempt to dive at the East Coast. It couldn't be more easy, given the circumstances. That was because the guys of East Coast Diving do an excellent job: the boat is made for the job and the guys know what they are doing. The dive spots are that beautiful and untouched that they should be kept a secret: so don't tell anybody.
Clearly this is not the type of diving for people that got their OW yesterday or have no buoyancy control. But when you are comfortable in calm seas that go over three feet and you have a normal fitness level there is no problem: the boat is very easy to enter. The dives are guided and the boat is following the group so current, if any, is not a problem. The dive spots are without doubt the most beautiful ones at Bonaire not only because there are masses of Turtles and big fish but the shallow reef area is almost untouched. Keep it that way! The guys of East Coast Diving are the only operation that organise dives to get there, you can book a trip at your own dive operator, or book on line as I did.
