I'm still on Bonaire but I thought I'd dash off this quick review about the cave tour with Clay. I took my 8 year old son out to the caves - Clay (manager) was our guide. He did a nice intro, both when we set out to prepare us for the caving adventure and then shorter informational pieces at each of the 2 locations. There was a dry cave - which was a little scary to get into (he had prepared us for this) requiring a climb down a ladder - but it was really beautiful once you got in there. There were even a few bats in there to see! Fossils embedded in the walls...really raw and beautiful...something you just can't see in the US with all the liability laws. We also went to the wet cave and went snorkeling. That was fun too. It was like an 'Indiana Jones' morning. Logistics - takes about 2 hours. Both locations aren't too far from Sand Dollar/ Buddy/Capt Dons hotels. Go in the AM cause it's hot in there. And it really is a big strenuous so be prepared to climb around rocks and wear good hiking shoes.
