“Wonderful old world atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

It rains fishes remains a consistent favourite on Bonaire. Lunch burger is magic. Mix drinks a treat. Wine by the glass is reasonably priced and ice cold (white). Food is good if not spectacular. Salads are excellent. Deserts less so. The best thing is the space and the staff which are peer less on the island and keeps us coming back time and time again.

“Popular restaurant at the sea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

We had dinner once and came back twice for lunch at It Rains Fishes, because it is just a nice place with good food. At night, the restaurant is fully booked, but for lunch it is less crowded.
Dinner was good with a variety of fish (but also non-fish if you like) and for lunch we had a delicious Japanese salad with tuna or shrimps. Also the wines are good.
Cost is similar to other restaurants, $140 for a dinner for two, including drinks.

“Great Fish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

Went for lunch, spendy but good quality. The staff service was slow and unprofessional, but that's normal in Bonaire

“Still a great place to eat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We loved this place so much on our last visit that we returned again this time. Great to say that the food, wine and service remains excellent. the restaurant also has a great location on the boulevard overlook the sea. My only criticism would be that we booked a table - at the time, there were no other reservations for that time period but when I asked for a front line table, Iwas told it couldn't be guaranteed. I didn't really understand why. However, no big issue and I look forward to returning when back on Bonaire.

“Terrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

We were a party of nine and every single one of our entrees came out at different times. Our table was being cleaned from one end while our party at the other end was still waiting for entrees. For such a higher end restaurant you would think the owners would higher wait staff with experience especially with larger groups. The food was good but not worth experience.
