My wife and I were married there back in 2006 and it was the greatest experience of our lives. I’m at work and so I can’t write a long winded review but you are truly fortunate to visit this place. If you are planning your wedding there you are privileged. It will be the time of your lives. Use all of the contractors they recommend and just sit back and enjoy.

My fiance and I stayed at this lovely, quiet property in January '08 and, based on our glowing review, good friends of ours booked a holiday there a couple of months later. They loved it too.

We prefer not to stay at large "cookie cutter" resorts, lacking charm and personality and for that reason seek out smaller, boutique properties. I found the Peach and Quiet on Trip Advisor and was delighted to find the reviews of fellow toursits to be 100% accurate.

Margaret and Adrian are very hard workers, the hotel is spotless, the food was super, and the service was without fault. Margaret even helped me book a special surprise for my fiance in advance of our arrival.

We hope to return to the Peach and Quiet next year for a warm, relaxing break from Toronto winter!

I have traveled extensively and been a contributor to TripAdvisor for sometime. My reviews are often not complementary but are truthful.

Having stayed at P&Q several times over the past 5 years I confidently recommend this property to my friends (over 20 in the past 2 years alone who have all enjoyed their time there> no complaints) I find it impossible to believe that either Adrian or Marg would make any attempt to manipulate popularity index by interfering with reviews on this property as I have found them to be hardworking truthful people. They have not need to try to fool the system as P&C is very highly rated as you may notice.

Judge Peach and Quiet by the large number of very positive endorsements from highly objective and independent reviewers. I strongly suggest that you take this into consideration when researching your travel plans and not fall prey to the malicious attack these most principled owners have had to endure.

I wrote a letter or review of this wonderful place after we visited but after rereading the comments here I feel compelled to add my own again.

Peach and Quiet is in a league of its own. It may not be the most beautiful, elegant place you have ever stayed but it's definately the prettiest. It's also the friendliest while maintaining discretion...
it's not an "all join in a lively game of water volleyball" kind of place. The location is very secluded and quiet, hence the name, the meals are absolutely delicious, the interaction betweeen the guests is interesting and polite and Margaret has such a wonderful reputation on the island one can not go anywhere where they don't know her or know of her and say the most wonderful things about her. Her recommendations always turned out to be perfect..she is the epitomy of gracious hospitality.

The Peach and Quiet is not fancy but it certainly is not a hostel either...it's absolutely lovely and the longer you are there the more you feel like a local rather than a tourist. I actually called Margaret on my layover in Puerto Rico just to say hi! And because I already missed Barbados.

If you are looking for a Hilton experience this is not the place for you. But if you want serenity, a true Bajan experience, hosts that understand and anticipate your messed up airline connections, a true sense of the island you are visiting and an opportunity to connect without distractons I can not recommend this little hotel highly enough. I know all of us who wrote reviews here sound like converts and we are!!
