Pirate's Inn is a rare find; a gem on the beautiful island of Barbados.
I am a mature, seasoned and frequent traveller having visited Barbados more than twenty times staying at different hotels and locations on the island.
Now I have found the perfect spot at this affordable, secure location.
All of the staff constantly make every effort, in every way, to ensure that you get the utmost satisfaction from you vacation at Pirate's Inn.
Winning various awards over the years, along with numerous repeat guest (I am one of them), says it all for this unique "home away from home" in Barbados.

“The Best of the Best”

Pirate's Inn

Pirate's Inn is a home away from home but without any of the responsibilities. Excellent staff and wonderful atmosphere. They go out of their way to accomodate the client. They organised my son's birthday party complete with a professional clown and wonderful food and everyone loved it. They had a Christmas party which made us all feel like we were all number one and very important guests - everyone at the hotel was invited so everyone felt incredibly special. Planning to go again and again and again ... Extremely close to all ammenities and 2 mins to the beach - perfect location. The hotel caters to all - and has internet access so you can keep up with home and business. Very affordable and a staff that adapts to the needs of the guest. Cannot say enough about the place!

Management Response
Pirateone, Manager
(Management representative)
May 21, 2008
We can confirm that on April 28, 2008 at approximately 7:00 a.m., a visitor reported that a sum of money went missing from a trouser pocket in his room. He stated that this happened after he had retired for the evening. On receiving this report, we immediately contacted the police, who conducted a full investigation into the matter. We are awaiting an official report from the police and therefore will refrain from comment on the specifics of this incident or any opinions expressed.

We are very alarmed about this allegation and continue to treat it with the utmost seriousness.  Pirate's Inn has an excellent reputation for taking the comfort, security and safety of its guests and staff very seriously. We can report that incidents of this nature are very rare. Our staffers are carefully selected, not only on the basis on their skills and experience, but also because of their honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.

As practiced internationally, we provide all rooms with safety deposit boxes. Pirate's Inn strives to retain its reputation as a safe and secure property. Our property is fully fenced and fitted with the latest electronic security. The facility is monitored 24/7 by two leading local security firms.  We also have security guards.

Should you have any questions about the security or safety of our property, please do not hesitate to contact me at renee@piratesinnbarbados.com.

Got a great deal through Virgin Holidays sale.

This hotel is great. It's small and has a real homely feel. The staff are delightful. The pool area is great - we had a room which overlooked it in the corner of a block and we had our own little outside area where we could eat or just relax.

The tv was fine, we payed a little more for our a/c but it was worth it. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped and the bathroom was big with a walk in wardrobe area.

The hotel was very quiet and the entrance to it is locked at night with a night watchman. The only noisy things are the mosquitoes and crickets!

It is a little walk to the beach but is quite near to fast food outlets but relatively far to the nearest reasonably sized food supermarket.

“A Great Budget Hotel ina Great Location”

Pirate's Inn

May 6, 2008

Sue and I were very happy at the Pirates Inn.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel as we were only in Barbados for a week. The staff were friendly and dealt with our requests efficiently and always with a smile. The room(No50) was a good size, the kitchen came fully equipped with new appliances,it was kept very clean, it did not have a balcony. Air conditioning was available at an extra cost of 10 US dollars per day, we found it to be essential, and we were very happy with the modern, quiet efficient remote controlled unit.

The hotel has a small pool, bar & restaurant, we did not eat there as we spent most of our stay on Accra Beach.

On the subject of were to eat we spent many happy meals at "Just Grillin" located in the car park of the Flying Fish Shopping Plaza opposite Accra Beach. Also if you like good coffee and a nice pastry in the morning try out the Italian Coffee hut at the end of the restaurant, open from 7 till 11 everyday except Christmas Day. Remember to ask for the loyalty card at both these places and you will save even more money on good value food. Finally, do not be afraid to sample lunch from the many White Vans scattered around the island. We found that you could tell the best ones by the number of locals waiting in line.

Overall I would say that Pirates Inn is great value for money, the location is fantastic so close to local amenities & the beach.

I would definitely return to the Pirates Inn in the future.
