Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coral Mist.
The rooms are clean, bright, spacious and well-equipped, with ample storage space. We stayed in the penthouse, which has a large balcony with sun-loungers as well as a side roof terrace.
The views over the beach were fantastic and the staff were all polite and helpful at all times.

We enjoyed using both swimming pools, which were never over-crowded, as well as bathing in the sea. The section of the beach by the hotel was never as busy as other beaches that we saw and there were always sun-loungers and sun umbrellas available.

We ate out most nights, enjoying the huge selections of eateries within walking distance of the hotel. We had breakfast on our balcony each day, taking advantage of all the self-catering facilities in our room.

Being on an upper floor meant we had a great view of the parrots who have started visiting the tree by the Blue Orchid some mornings.

All in all, this hotel gives great value for money and is in a really good location. We have already re-booked for next year!

Having just returned to the UK I felt compelled to add to the reviews. Read some before we left and though it was our second visit was a bit concerned! But to no avail! The whole holiday was terrific. Coral Mist is such a friendly, welcoming hotel that I would book again!
The studio was extremely clean and the view was fabulous especially with a cocktail at sunset!!! NOT to be missed!
Reggie was always on hand and helpful. And smiling continually!!!
I do hope the ever dimishing beach manages to hang on for our next trip!!!!

After reading all of the great reviews on the hotel we decided to go ahead and book for a few days. We didn't book with an agent has we have had problems in the pass so we booked direct with the hotel which we figured would be easy however that was not the case we first sent an email which we did not get a reply to for over a week then when ever I called to talk with someone in reservations there was never anyone there however the person who answered the phone was very helpful with telling us the different rates and the layout of the rooms and what was near and good to do. I was told that the reservations department was closed and I would have to try again in the morning which I did but still no one was there however I was then put to a gentleman which I was told was the manager who was still no help and I would have to try again later which I did but the person had step away from the desk to be honest just booking the reservation took about 2 weeks just mostly trying to reach someone in reservations. FINALLY RESEVATION BOOKED. Our flight in was ok got a cab very easy at the airport and we were on our way got to the hotel in about 15-20 mins. Check-in went great at which time I also asked for the famous Reggie which everyone mentions who by the way wasn't there then we were off to our rooms which the receptionist took is to nice lady we did a bit of chit chat told us about the great tours we could so and the nice resturants near by and also said to talk to Reggie about booking what ever we needed to do. Our room had a very strange smell on entering and the tiles on the floor needed to be cleaned they were very black we had requested a king size bed which we didn't get and the patio door gave some trouble to open, I mentioned the bed to the lady and I was done soon after. Like I had read before about the noise from the road oh yes that would take some getting use to but the sea was a bit choppy so the waves knock the noise out at times. Our first night was fine we had dinner in the restaurant which was nice the next day we decided to go down and book some tours and stuff to do on our hoilday but once again the FAMOUS Reggie wasn't there yet we were told to check back in a little bit which we did but he had just step out we went back and forth also with him so we just called up and booked the tours ourself to be honest we where there for little over a week and sorry to say but the VERY FAMOUS Reggie is still missing haven't seen him once and I didn't plan on spending my holiday sitting in the lobby waiting to meet up with him I was asked by the receptionist on more than one time if I needed help but I just wanted to meet him but after that I am convince that the people that write about him are all his friends oh yes you are. Never the less our stay at the hotel was nice could of been better the ladies from housekeeping was good well they did the best they could with what they were working with oh well. The sand on the beach was gone there was a really big rock there when I left I was told that it comes and goes hope it is back when we decide to go back.

Will I return I would only if it doen't take over two weeks to make a reservation.

A quick review, this was our second stay and I was concerned after reading some recent negitive reviews! I have never returned to a place for a second visit! But I have now booked our third stay for this year!
We had a wonderful time in Barbabos!again and the CoralMist played a huge part! it is so easy going! It is a wonderful base for a holiday! A great beach, good clean accomadation, with nice staff! especially Marcia! and of course Reggie! always helpful and friendly!
We stayed in room401 as usual the room was kept in good repair and clean, and we had a wonderful view from the balcony!
The hotel location is so central, We had a wonderful meal at Champers,Josephs and really enjoyed the Carib beach bar ! The only disappointing meal was at Pisces! Very expensive, terrible service , and bland food! would not return! We had some wonderful meals from Champers to Ositens fish fry!
If you are looking for a chilled couple of weeks with a independent attitude to where you eat from expensive to very cheap(but good) You will have a great holiday.
We did a couple of trips the Island safari! great way to see the island and great guides! a fun day ! also Cool Running as last year a fantastic day! swimming with the turtles and the marine life, also great food and lots to drink!
We had a great time! its so chilled at the CoralMist! We will be back in November!
