“Amazing!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Have just returned from 2 weeks all inclusive at this resort and have to say it was fabulous! We stayed in one of the rooms at the adult pool end of the resort. The room was very spacious and clean. The food in the Mermaid and Azul restaurants was good - varied choice each day. The adult pool area was quiet and relaxing, the sunbeds were very comfortable. But what really makes this resort so good is the staff - they are all so pleasant and friendly, nothing is too much trouble! We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend this resort..

First of all the beach and sea are beautiful - it's a small beach and you can't stroll very far at all but the sand is white, sea green/blue. Fantastic.

The hotel itself is small and a bit run down but perhaps it comes down to what you're used to. The room had a beautiful sea view but was very dated. The bathroom was really horrible and needed to be replaced.

Other reviews go on about the staff. First impressions. Hmmm I'm not sure there is good service. Most were somewhat surly. It did get better as our holiday progressed. I do think this was down to communication. The staff get sick of saying the same things but the hotel doesn't provide a good enough guide or signage. E.g. You need to report in for breakfast and book for dinner. We didn't know this and just sat down. We were shouted at. We saw this happen many more times over our hol.

The food was satisfactory. Not excellent but adequate. The Azul restaurant was good and it's a shame the food quality wasn't the same in the main restaurant.

It took us a while to relax as we were a bit disappointed with the hotel however once we accepted it as it was and got to know how it worked we did relax. And even wanted to stay a bit longer.

There is nothing to do on a night. Entertainment mediocre. We were back in the room watching tv by 9pm every night.

Would we recommend - hmmm I'm not sure. Read all the reviews particularly those that are more critical.

Just returned after spending 10 nights with my wife without the kids for the first time since they arrived in our lives and what a great place to start a new chapter.
Hotel was very welcoming from the start with cold towels and drinks on arrival, swift check in and off to the room.
Room was spotless, roomy and well presented (room 225) view was fantastic with table, chairs and two large comfy loungers on the balcony.
240Volt electric supply in the bathroom, with uk socket very handy, towels and bathroom supplies plentiful.
We found all staff to be smart and above all courteous and polite at all times, nothing seemed to much trouble and were always pleased to help.
Choice of three dining options but if dining at Azul (al la carte) make sure you book in plenty of time, well worth a visit and food is very good.
Food throughout the entire stay was varied, well cooked and well presented, best meal for me was the beef ravioli cooked by Rowland, should be working full time in Azul.
Beach was fantastic, white, soft and well kept, big thanks to beach hut staff.
Having never been to Barbados before we have no benchmark to judge this hotel to but having stayed here for ten nights we must say that this hotel is of a high quality throughout with no problems and in our view worth every penny and a hotel others may look towards as a standard.
Too many people to mention but big thanks to all staff, front of house smart, polite and helpful, barstaff and all catering, superb job with all food and drinks special thanks to makela( good luck with basketball) and a very big thanks to the unsung heroes of the hotel, housekeeping who keep the rooms spotless and well supplied, gardeners who keep the hotel looking great and well kept, and security who know ones sees but who do a sterling job of keeping the hotel and guests safe and secure.
Many thanks to all at sea breeze for a superb holiday and as arnie said i'll be back

Room Tip: If possible and you can stretch the budget get a sea view room its worth it.

Just returned from Sea Breeze Hotel, we have been all over the world and this hotel is one of the best we have stayed in. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are all very friendly and make you feel very welcome, the hotel is run very efficiently anything you want they will sort it for you. The food is really good, the beach is out of this world. The sun beds have a hood you can pull over for when you get too hot. The food in the beach bar is really good and the sit down meals in the main restaurant are excellent. You get an ironing board and iron in your room and two massive beds. Plus most of the guests are British or Canadian so you have plenty of people to talk to, the atmosphere is fantastic. It's our first time in Barbados and I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good, we were in 207 which overlooked the adult people, its right on the beach any...

Just spent 7days with my husband at the sea breeze, we have travelled around the world and stayed at many good hotels but this hotel had it all. This was our first time in the Caribbean and hopefully not the last.
The sea view from room 129 walking out of the patio doors across the grass onto the beach into the most blue/green sea. My husband and I tried to figure out how we could get the bed and mattress home! So comfortable.
The food was good and loved the having to book in for evening meal and the waitress service - not the mad rush at other all inclusive hotels we have stayed at. The birds at breakfast and lunch flying in to the restaurant brought us closer to nature in the opened area mermaid restaurant.
What made it more special was the wonderful staff from Grace, Chesterfield to mention a few , all very caring, accommodating and could not do enough for us.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Thanks once again to a wonderful holiday.

Just come back from a 10 night stay. When we arrived we had had a 5 hour flight delay, it was dark and raining and there was no one around apart from the receptionist and the hotel seemed very dark and dismal, dinner was over because it was so late and I thought 'Oh dear what a disappoinment'. I soon changed my mind. Sun was shinning in the morning and I soom realised how nice the place was. The beaches are stunning, sand like white talc. There are two stunning beaches, one with water sports and plenty of loungers and another that feels like you are on a desert island. The childrens area and pool looked great but we spent most of our time around the adult pool which has the most comfy padded loungers I have ever seen. The food and drinks service was great. Staff served drinks around the pool and on the beach all day and the restaurants were very good. All of the staff were a credit to this hotel, they were friendly and helpfull at all times. The entertainment at night was, in general, very good. A special mention to 'The Two Guitarists' who were fantastic and to Nu Vy Jon (Winston Welch and Sandra Boyce) who were outstanding. If its a Hilton or Sandals then this place maybe isn't for you as its not as polished as they are but you definitely know you are in Barbados as it has a wonderful Carribean atmosphere. The fish fry in Oistins is a must on Friday night and you are only a short bus ride to Bridgetown. Only one little niggle was that no one seemed to be policing the hotel rules. I saw people in shorts in the a Ia carte restaurant and on one occassion people brought their 4 kids to the adults area and let them run riot jumping in and out of the jaccussis and pouring drinks in them etc whist they lay about drinking. After a few guests had complained a security person did arrive but by then they had gone. I suppose something must have been said to them as they didn't come back for the rest of the time we were there. Saying that I would still recommend this very nice hotel. (PS - it didn't rain again!)

My wife and I have just returned home to a chilly Scotland after another marvellous 15-night stay at Sea Breeze. This was our seventh visit in a row to this hotel, and, as expected, we found everything to be just as before. The friendly staff go a long way to make guests feel welcome, and we had no reason to complain about a single thing during our holiday. We have stayed at similar All Inclusive resorts in Barbados, but, in the words of Tina Turner, Sea Breeze is "simply the best." Coincidentally, the General Manager's name happens to be Mr Faye Best!

Room Tip: Try for a room by the adult pool
