Being from the Caribbean ourselves, visiting barbados was really like going "next door " ..... (we are from trinidad) but each caribbean island has its own unique flavour and our stay at sea breeze hotel in barbados did not dissappoint, strong points include friendly staff, great food, nice facilities and an overall ambiance that says welcome, had a great time , this island is really blessed with great water all around, all the staff came in for high praise especially the staff that worked in the mermaid restaurant, they would remember us as the only couple who ate two main courses in one sitting, overall nice accomadation, though as mentioned before the rooms are a little dated but very clean overall. thank you for the memories see breeze..

We stayed for 9 days. The grounds are beautiful at Sea Breeze, great beach, walking location to Oistins, and not far by bus to the Gap or Bridgetown.

The amenities were fine, aside from the antiquated fitness equpiment, that is...We were disappointed to see our "king size" bed was actually two twin beds (complete with seperate headboards even) pushed together. We did not find the staff overly friendly or helpful, and rooms were not cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis during our stay.

At first glance, this hotel was 'lunch bag letdown', however, there are many many positives about our experience. No this is not a 5 star hotel, however, the food is better than any five star resort that I have stayed in! The staff are very friendly and make your stay that much more enjoyable. The rooms, while they may not be up to date, they are very clean. There are 15 refurbished rooms and the rest of the hotel is undergoing a major refurbishment in July and August. This property exudes charm....there is always a chair to lie on whether it be at either of the two pools or the beach. There is a variety of entertainment at night and it is very good. To sum up our experience....
we will be back.

well returned to the sea breeze for our 3rd time in october , so goes to show we must like it there

yes some parts do look a little tired but work does seem to be ongoing without any intrusion to the guests
rooms a little weary but no doubt kept very clean and how much time do you want to spend in your room ,if, like my husband & i not a lot
hyacynth is a darling and nothing too much trouble for her , wendy the wedding coordinator a real lady and everyone else not mentioned by name who work there are all a joy to get to know
food fabulous - in fact we think it has got better since our last 2 holidays there
always plenty space on beach and they always willing to put up an umbrella for you if you cant find a vacant one
entertainment a little low key but always very good
bar closes pretty early so just get an extra couple rounds in if you want to sit around and chatter till late which we often did
i think you get to speak to every holiday maker at this very very friendly hotel
we met 2 fab couples in october there and we all meeting there for our hols in october this year so we all cant wait
deb & steve got married there and den & i were honoured to be asked to be witnesses for their special day ( made ours as it was our 30th wedding anniversary that day. )
