“nice hotel, friendly stuff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

we spent in this hotel one week in Februar this week. The location of the hotel is realy convenient - very closed to Holetown, the city we loved most during our trip. IN the other direction, the capital of Bridgetown is few kilometrs away. The accommodation is marvelous, nice appartaments with kitchen, living room and bed room. The furnishing is nice and modern and the rooms are maintained every day, so that the stuff keep it very clean. The property consist of the blocks situated around a pool. The enviroment is quite, only occasionaly you may hear some noise from the highway near the hotel. hotel stuff was very profesional and helpful. We experienced there only one unpleasant event /my running shoes were lost from outside patio/, but this was a detail during our very pleasant stay.

Just returned from a fab holiday at Beach View, the views from the apartments are simply stunning;the sea and the exceptionally attractive well tended gardens. We loved the spacious apartment which was both tastefully furnished and beautifully maintained. The staff are a great asset to Beach View as all without exception are friendly and helpful.
Beach View is in a great position and ideally suited for a lovely holiday on the west coast.

This is a very good self-catering hotel. The condos are very well-equipped and smart. It is great to have your own kitchen and living room as well as bedroom and bathroom that you would get in an ordinary hotel. But there are no public rooms, room service or bar, only the Hut which closed at 2pm. There was daily maid service and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. The only downside was we found it hard to sleep because of the loud traffic noise from the extremely busy main road we were next to.We were in 212 on first floor of block Carambola, which we found very noisy.. A different condo would be better, but we enjoyed our stay there very much, our first time in Barbados, a lovely island for a holiday.

Room Tip: For a good view, a first or even better, second floor room. Avoid blocks Carambola and Paw Paw as th...

Second time in Barbados and couldn't have been better. Great location, great accommodations, even better staff. Will definitely be back. Only regret is we didn't stay longer. Hotel staff happy to assist with any request.

Made arrangements for Barbados for the first time but not the last! Feb8-16th was our stay period. We selected Beach View with 3 couples total. Our rooms were ground floor, pool side, side by each! It was convenient socially. The biggest difference in this trip from others for us was the condo units were full kitchen and dining room and cooking suppers amongst group taking turns was more cottage style than anything. Sharing the work and the rum and Banks beers a flowin! Across the road at the beach was a Government fish market with fresh catch daily. With a small farmers market around the corner and convenience stores close, all was handy for fine eating! The premises were immaculate, with all gardening in order. The staff are so pleasant and very helpful for booking any service or excursion. They had there own people for cab service and a small hut that breakast starters and light lunches were available until 2:900 daily and that was adequate for our needs.Located across the road from Payne's Bay where some of the best beach/snorkelling available on the Island. The people are proud and working hard. The children are schooled in uniforms and have the highest literacy rate in the Islands!! People are friendly, and at no time did I feel unsafe anywhere we went!!! Other than taxi's, we did most travelling on there buses. It was $2.00 Barbados($1.00 US) from 1 end of the Island to the other!!! What a deal! They follow British law, but are Independant. It's safe, clean, warm and friendly! I'm going back next year and think I'll book an extra few days!!

Fantastic Experience. From Italy to Barbados, passing by the United States! The perfect ending for a special honeymoon. Big spaces, sea view, peace and relax.
Special thank to all the staff, we felt like at home. Maybe, one day, we could return...to celebrate an anniversary!

We were here a week, after one week on the other side of the island (had stayed our first week at Butterfly Beach, near Oistins). Although we missed the direct beach access we had at the other place, the accommodations were quite a few notches up. Beachview suites are beautifully appointed and uber comfortable, with much thought gone in to the details of ensuring a great stay. Our interactions with staff, including booking our stay in the first place by email, were always impressive- very responsive each time and always friendly. The pool is gorgeous, the location near Holetown and the west coast great, and although you have to cross the street to go to the beach, just a short walk down are lovely spots to set up for the morning/afternoon/day. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance (our favourite was Mr Vic) but Holetown would require a car or taxi. We had a car and found it very useful for getting around the island, but if you mostly want to relax and go to the beach, you could manage very well with buses and taxis. We would most certainly come back here, if we had the pleasure of coming to Barbados again.

Room Tip: I would probably specifically request not to be in the "Paw Paw" units if we came back, as...
