The views from the cemetery are great. I was there in Feb. 2011. I hired a cab for half a day and explored the island.(I have a thing for church's and stained glass.) The original church was built in the 1600's but was destroyed in a storm. The present structure was built in the 1800's and is a good example of gothic architecture. The grounds are well maintained and the people are lovely. The cemetery behind the church over looks the Atlantic ocean. From, I think, 1600 feet up the view is beautiful. I can only imagine what the sun rises are like from this vantage point. A little bite of a ride from the port but well worth it. You get to see some of the interior of the island going to and fro.
