“Fantastic value, great day out swimming with turtles.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic value with unlimited drinks, very smart catamaran with lots of room. No sign of sea sickness. Swimming with turtles was amazing. Could do with maybe a little more information about what we are looking at on the coast. Brilliant. Would definately do again.

“Tiami Catamaran Cruise in Barbados”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We were on a 7-day cruise and one of our stops was Barbados and since they are known for their turtles, we took the Tiami catamaran cruise which takes you to a gorgeous serene area where you can snorkel with the turtles. To say that this was awesome would be an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was spectacular. First of all I want to personally give a shout out to the crew - James our captain, Ryan our first mate, and Walter, Richard Alaili (spelling?) our 3 deck hands. These men truly made our "cruise" well worth it - they served each and every single person on the cruise personally and were very informative. They made us feel welcome and very safe and made sure that everyone on board followed all the rules so as to not hurt the turtles. One of the deck hands told my husband that he reminded him of Ray from everybody loves Raymond. It was a long, leisurely trip and fun was had by all. I would have to say that out of all 5 ports we visited and did excursions on, this was our favorite. Please let this particular crew know if you get them that their favorite New Yorkers (including Ray - haha) gave them an excellent rating!!!!!!!!!!!

“Terrible Experience, Never Again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

We were supposed to go on the sunset cruise with food, drinks, and sea turtles. Nothing was as promised - we got food poisoning from the food, the drinks were watery, and there were no sea turtles. Worse than that, the snorkel equipment they give you is seriously out of date and leaked everywhere, getting salt water in our mouths constantly.

I would not recommend this cruise to anyone.

“Didn't know it was a Booze Cruise!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

We asked our travel agent to book us a turtle snorkeling cruise for our trip to Barbados, and she found a 3-hour sunset cruise on Tiami. OK. Didn't think much of it. We figured that the description of "cocktails and light snacks" was innocent and relaxing enough. NO WAY. First, the boat was extremely crowded. At least 30 or 40 people were riding along with us. Second, the actual snorkeling part of the tour lasted no more than 30 minutes in the water. Seeing and swimming with the turtles was great experience that I'd love to do a again with a smaller group on a smaller boat. But with so many people in the water at one time, you got the inevitable kick in the face or a close-up of someone else's butt. And there were only 2 or 3 turtles in the spot where they anchored, so everyone started swarming around them and you couldn't get too close without getting in the way. The ride back to the dock was horrible for anyone just looking to relax with the waves and the sunset. Loud, and I mean LOUD, dance music filled with gunshot and laser beam sound effects (WTF??), open bar where people couldn't control themselves. Rump shaking. Binge drinking. College-age kids going wild. Oh, and there were elderly couples and families on board that I also don't think they know what their agent booked, or they wouldn't have been there!

Not a very good experience for us. If partying with booze and careless crewmembers is your thing, give the sunset turtle crew a shot. If you're looking for something more relaxing and laid-back, look elsewhere.

“Great Cruise”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

This is a well priced good value for money cruise. It can be as relaxed or as full on so you like. It's about 4 hours see all the fabulous water front properties up to Sandy lane from the sea! Snorkel on the reef, swim with the turtles swim to a beautiful secluded beach. The staff are tremendous and the BBQ lunch was excellent. It really is a must do!
