“Tasty Bajan Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

Visited for Sunday brunch which is apparently their busiest meal period. The food was tasty, plentiful and varied. The meal price included either a rum punch or tropical punch. Would definitely visit again!

“Well designed restaurant drawing on many traditional aspect of Barbados.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

The restaurant is very well laid out. The food on the night we were there was traditional and introduced us to new flavours and combinations but the cooking stopped short of what it promised and probably could achieve on other occasions.

“Good Local Cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

A good place to experience local dishes at a reasonable price. No reservations needed for lunch, located close to the city. Normally I take my overseas reps there as the service is quick and the food is good.

“Brown Sugar - how come you don't taste so good”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

An out of the way place - unless you are staying at the Radisson - looks great and has a warm welcome.

Service is relatively quick for Barbados and very friendly as you would expect.. The food was terrible.

Started with previously frozen
bread rolls (I only say that as they were wet and warm on the outside and cold in the middle).
Shrimp cooked long enough to become a flip flop. Coconut curry? No, green water surrounding the flip flop shrimp.
Spicy fish - wasn't spicy and I have only their word it was fish!

Dreadful meal, and with Lobster Alive around the corner I cannot imagine a circumstance when one would choose Brown Sugar above it!

Oh, and the wifi doesn't work.. Since April, according to the waitress!
