“Nothing worked”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

We chose this place mainly because every other place was closed due to the New Years Day. The place it self was like a normal tourist restaurant, nothing special but ok. Bathrooms however were pretty awful and without toiletpaper or tissues.

We got the food, but had to wait for cutleries for about 10 minutes. One waiter came to check if we had gotten the cutleries 3 times and just sai that this wasnt her table and that her collegue would take care of us!
So bybthe time we got them the food was already cold.

The food was below bar. Hamburger was probably the worst I had ever tasted. The cheese in it was cold and just horrible. You had to pay extra to get fries with the burger. That would be ok if the burger itself wouldn't already be more expensive than in most of the places. I have never seen so much ice in my coke, which made the drink taste like water.

All in all, I strongly recommend to avoid that place.

“Friendly, Fun, Great Time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2010

This is definitely the best place to eat in the actual Bridgetown City. The other choices are like Mc Donald's level fast food restaurants or a super stick-up-ur-butt place like the Waterfront. Instead, the people at Bump & Wine are very friendly, fun, welcoming and we really had a good time there. The atmosphere is just so colorful and festive, my idea of a place to be on holiday. The food does take a little longer to come out than we are used to, but that's the same as every restaurant in the island. Compared to other restaurants we visited during our stay we found that it was a really good value for the meals, and most importantly, it was a great place to wet our palettes while we shopped!

“Cheated and Poor Service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2010

Went to Bump and Wine last saturday when they had a drinks free party i.e. you pay an entrance fee and then drinks at the bar are free. Upon entering we proceeded to the bar and it took us all of half an hour to get ONE drink. The bartenders (or those who admitted they were bartenders, since one girl claimed she was just helping out) basically just walked around the bar ignoring the patrons who really couldn't understand what was going on. The classic statement of the night was "We are out of Vodka but if you want it you can pay for it!" Drinks free anyone? All in all I feel cheated and the service was indeed quite horrible.

“Awful”

Slow waitresses could not have cared less, small portions, overpriced. Only good thing is the view.

“Great view! More of a place to drink than a lunch place.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2009

Okay, so to be fair, we ate here Christmas Eve, for lunch. Two adults, two kids. The view from the balcony is awesome, a great place to make pics if I'd brought my camera.
Our kids were hungry, you know that hungry kid 'I'm starved' thing.
It took us an hour after we ordered to get our food. They were out of macaroni pie. They were also out of chicken, but we got the end of it. It's good, but expensive. A long wait to get water refilled. They sell the flying fish sandwich here, but it's expensive, and for a quarter of the price, you can get a better flying fish sandwich at a stand near Pebbles Beach (the stand closes at 6pm). That stand is walking distance from the Hilton & brown sugar & the beach is nice there.
