with friendly personal and cosy atmosphere!!!clean, very close to the beach and Oistins fish market

Went to this place due to the convenient location. If you want to see a glacier move put the staff of the Croton Inn beside it. We were one of two tables present, the other with a lone male. We ordered a couple of drinks and waited over 15 minutes until the owner or manager directed the waitress that maybe she should go get them.

First course, a "tomato, cheese and basil salad", four thin slices of tomato sprinkled with the slightest amount of parmesan out of a can and dry basil off the spice rack. Then the ballistically spiced fish cakes, now at the 50 minute mark, at first we thought maybe they were just kidding, that the edible ones would follow....not so....bring some antacid.

We had to skip the main course, partly because we didn't expect any value but mostly because we were only on the island for three weeks and weren't sure if that would give them enough time to get anything ready.

All of this while seated inches away from the Hastings Main Road and clouds of diesel exhaust.

We had an overnight stay in Bridgetown on our way to a cruise with a very late arrival. Did not want to spent much because it was a short night and in addition it was impossible to find any B&B willing to rent a room for 1 night only during this period.
So based on the reviews on Tripadvisor we contacted the owner and got our reservation swiftly. On our arrival the flight was delayed and the Inn Keeper kindly waited for us, despite we had no opportunity to alert him about our late arrival. He was welcoming and took the time to answer our questions. The room and bathroom were simple and clean and of good size. Ceiling fan was working. Beautiful beach just down the small road. Their restaurant is only open on the evenings, so we had breakfast in a hotel nearby which was OK. This Inn is definitely a bargain if you travel on budget.

The Croton Inn has an amazing restaurant i really recommend dining here on your stay. Its In a decent location on the way to Oistins just a short walk to a fantastic beach. The rooms are nothing special just clean and comfortable bed with a fan but the price is right. The owner is abrasive rude and a little hostile. If you can stand that then go for it. Just dont expect any smiles or any help in any way or form. Beside this unfortunate factor i recommend the Croton Inn as a Cheep and Clean B&B in a good location if your just looking for a place to lay your head. If you value service stay away and just check out their restaurant.
