The building (built in 1658) and the surroundings are beautifully and lovingly restored and maintained. It's a wonderful window to the grand plantation lifestyle, spanning 350 years of history. The road leading to the Abbey is magnificent. The house and it's contents are well preserved, attention to detail is evident throughout, and surprisingly accessible to visitors. The view of the gullies, where we spotted couple of monkeys, is beautiful and peaceful - we wish we had time to meander through it - next time! Check out their bathrooms!
