Codrington College is still used as a seminary to train priests for the Anglican Church of Barbados. It id resplendent quiet retreat with great garden and view, entrance is free.
A visit can easily be combined with a tour of Bathshaba, St Andrew's parish church, and the restored windmill for sugar cane grinding. It is easy to miss the entrance so it may be frustrating to find with a rental car.
I have visited several times since living in Barbados in 1971, and always find it a peaceful and relaxing.
Recommended to get a better appreciation of Barbadian culture and history an a respite from the usual tourist haunts.
