While the fare to the top of the lighthouse is cheap, there's no need to go up to the top for incredible views. There's a small gift shop on the property and the day I was there (off-season) it was busy with tourists arriving by scooters and taxis. Definately worth a stop.

It is only 2.50 usd to go up the light house and it is perfect place to see the view of the island. You can step outside and walk around the top of the light house. and the light house keeper was very friendly so it is worthy to pay and go up for a visit.

Unfortunately reached the light house while it was raining heavily. Was totally soaked and that did dampen things. The small restaurant just next to the light house was shut. I was the only one there. But the views from the area was simply amazing. Also since I was riding a rented moped, I must add that the drive to the ligh house was nothing short of fabulous, albeit the heavy rains.
Definitely a must see on the list while in Bermuda.

The food came quickly and it was quite good. It was unpretentious but well cooked, whether it was a fish sandwich or an arugula salad. We had worked quite the appetite after climbing the lighthouse, and the beer and food really hit the spot.
