If you prefer a more intimate quality dining experience, this is the place to go. This restaurant only offers about 15 tables and reservations are a must. It was wonderfully quiet and casually elegant. The service was the best we experienced on the island and the food surpassed our expectations. Although it is a fine dining establishment, you have numerous options on the menu. My husband chose a pizza (the restaurant is run by Italians) while I ordered the best leanest rack of lamb ever. both dishes exceeded our expectations. We ordered a goat cheese portobella mushroom appetizer that was absolutely delicious. The house chardonnay and champagne were very nice (and I tend to be a little picky). This restaurant definitely has the best views of any on the island. A spectacular view is available from any seat, since the restaurant is on top of a hill adjacent to the Gibbs Lighthouse. If you are not staying in Southampton, you can catch the free ferry from Hamilton to Southampton. Either flag a cab there or take the free Fairmont Southampton hotel trolley to the hotel and get a cab ($5 + tip) or just walk up the hill to the Lighthouse if you're wearing good shoes. Any way you go, it's worth it!
