The beach was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The color of the water is undescribable. The sand was like powder. I loved this beach!
We traveled by local bus everywhere on our three day trip by cruise to Bermuda. The bus stop near this beach is right in front of the Elbow Beach Resort. Perfect if you are are staying there because there is a private entrance to the beach right at the bus stop.....however....public access is around 3/4 a mile away. Just saying...but the beach is so quiet at this time of year. Seas a bit rough to swim or snorkel but sights are sweet!
I never found another beach that was as peaceful and beautiful as here. Lots of rocky shore-line and beautiful pink sand.
We love Elbow Beach, especially on the winter evenings. Very popular among the expats on Christmas Day. It gets a bit crowded in the summer, but it is good for swimming. Has Elbow Beach hotel at one end, and Coral Beach Club at the other, but there is a public stretch in the middle with good access and real demarcation of areas. One can walk the entire length of the beach if staying below the high tide mark.
